Tanzania. These are Masai, the indigenous people of Tanzania and Kenya. They are communal land owners, and are fairly nomadic, moving their cattle around to where the best feeding areas are. For clothing they wear bright coloured cloths like in the picture, except the adolescent boys who wear all black and paint their faces with white markings. Due to too many rich tourists, the Masai will not allow their picture to be taken without the exchange of money. That is against our personal policy, so we don't have any pictures of them. This picture is from a postcard we bought.
